Marc is a skilled litigator with extensive experience in both civil and criminal law.

Before joining Koiles Pratt Family Law Group, Marc was General Counsel and Senior Vice President for a rapidly growing manufacturing company outside Boston. There he developed a wealth of civil litigation, corporate governance and commercial transaction experience focusing on government regulatory practice, litigation management, employment law, mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiation, trademark infringement, as well as the drafting, negotiation, oversight and enforcement of complex sales and distribution agreements with global distribution partners.

Prior to his role as General Counsel, Marc was an Assistant District Attorney for the Office of the Middlesex County District Attorney for over ten years. He began his career there in the Appeals Bureau, where he drafted appellate briefs and argued cases before he Massachusetts Court of Appeals and the Supreme Judicial Court. Marc's cases included successfully writing and arguing a case on behalf of the Commonwealth before the SJC which established black letter law that continues to guide law enforcement to this day. After over a year in the appellate bureau, Marc moved to the trial division where he worked with local state and federal law enforcement agencies in the investigation, pre-trial preparation, grand jury presentation and trial of hundreds of cases in both the District Court and Superior Court Divisions. His cases included all major felonies ranging from armed robbery and major narcotics trafficking to rape and first degree murder, with a primary focus on violent gang prosecution.
In addition, Marc helped develop and implement intra-office educational and training programs that eventually were adopted statewide by other law enforcement agencies, including a cutting-edge community based crime prevention and control program aimed at helping inner city youths to make better choices and avoid criminal involvement.

Marc also worked as a Clinical Professor at Boston College Law School teaching Criminal Process to third year law students. Marc was responsible for designing the curriculum for not only classroom instruction but the clinical portion of the class also, where he supervised his students in the prosecution of actual criminal cases.

He specializes in complex litigation, including cases involving medical and forensic experts, business valuations, asset division and domestic and family law matters of all types.
