Marissa L. Prescott

Marissa Prescott handles all aspects of domestic relations matters including the areas of divorce, child support, custody, paternity, alimony, property division, modification, contempt and enforcement of court judgments. Prior to joining Koiles Pratt Family Law Group, Marissa practiced at a boutique domestic relations law firm in downtown Boston. Marissa has focused her practice exclusively on domestic relations matters since 2011, when she worked as a law clerk and later as an associate, for a domestic relations solo practitioner in Boston.

In addition to experience in private practice, Marissa has experience working for the Massachusetts Trial Court. Marissa worked for two years as a Sessions Clerk at the Middlesex Probate and Family Court, clerking for the Honorable Judge Jeffrey Abber. In this role, she ran daily court sessions and was the first point of contact in the courtroom for litigants and attorneys regarding court policies and procedures. Having worked for private law firms as well as the Massachusetts Trial Court, Marissa brings a unique perspective to each matter she handles.
